A converted transit bus. Professional barber stations. Mentorship built in. Rolling directly to the schools, churches, and neighborhoods that need us most.
Rendering shown reflects the finished vision — the unit is currently under construction and not yet in service.
The biggest barrier to TCBU's impact isn't willingness — it's access. Youth who need self-care, mentorship, and career exposure the most are the hardest to reach. The Mobile Self-Care Unit eliminates that barrier by bringing the full TCBU experience — professional haircuts, near-peer mentors, career exposure, and community connection — directly to where young people already are.
We believe every donor and sponsor deserves to see exactly what they're funding. Below is the full cost breakdown for completing the first Mobile Self-Care Unit.

The bus was generously donated by the Council on Aging of St. Lucie County — a retired transit vehicle given a second life as TCBU's first Mobile Self-Care Unit.
